​Seed Saving Bookmarks

We created these seed saving bookmarks as a simple way to share practical seed saving knowledge with your community. Each bookmark includes helpful information that can be shared at seed libraries, workshops, schools, and community events.

You can use the editable Canva versions to add your own logo, branding, or local information, or use the ready-to-print PDF versions. However, the images and main text is not editable. Another option if you are printing yourself is to remove our branding and enlarge the image as it will make the print a little larger.  Each bookmark is 2 x 7.25 inches (& scalable to 5.5 x 18.5 cm). The print is small so you may want to print at 2.5x8.5 inches (or metric equivalent). Here are links to the Canva versions and PDFs or open the folder with PDFs.

We are pairing the bookmarks by season or species, but if you print them yourself, you can mix and match the front and back designs based on what best fits your community's needs.

Because seed saving is a seasonal, long-term practice, having a durable, everyday reference that people encounter while reading offers a simple and effective way to reinforce learning. These bookmarks serve as accessible educational tools, helping gardeners build confidence in saving and sharing seeds while strengthening local knowledge and community seed stewardship.

To make these resources easier to access, we will also be partnering with a regional seed company in the United States to offer printed bookmarks for communities that would like an easy way to order them.
